Default Soft Top

So a few weeks ago I went through the long process of washing etc. to my S. Starting with a wash...ending with a couple coats of wax. Somewhere in between I managed to get a couple of specs of polish onto my soft top. I didn't think a big deal of it and wiped it off, but two small spots remained.
This week I washed the car again and noticed the spots still there. Today I had some time and tried 303 cleaner on the two small spots. They faded to a black, but looking closely you can still see the remains of the two small dots (pencil eraser size). How the heck can I get rid of them?

If that fails, try using that same brush with a 50/50 mix of water and isopropyl alcohol

I'll try the toothbrush and see how that works out.

The top has a grain to it which is why it looks like fabric. In order to get into the grain to clean you need to use a soft bristled brush. A wash mitt or a cloth will not get all the way into the grain.

Personally, when I wash my car I always soap up the top and then scrub it lightly with an upholstery brush.
