The top on my recently purchased AP1 cleaned up nicely with a little gently washing and a few coats of 303.

Try a marina they should have vinyl cleaner and protectant or just order some ragg topp from autogreek.net it's what I have found works best

Remember our cars have vinyl tops not fabric!

303 is great for all your plastic/rubber/vinyl.

This. My car only gets about 3K miles a year, so I usually 303 the top every couple of months.

It probably doesn't matter what vinyl cleaner that you use on the top. I have used both 303 and RaggTopp. They both seem to do a fine job. I hear of others who have had good success with Amazing Roll-Off. And still others who simply wash their vinyl tops with the ordinary car wash solution.

But I do have a definite preference when it comes to protectants. I prefer TaggTopp over 303 Protectant. 303 seems to generate better beading, but I have seen the stuff streak down the side of my car in a rainstorm. And I don't think the problem was excessive application. When my bottle of 303 gets low, which is going to take a long time, I'm afraid, I will definitely rebuy RaggTopp.
