Default Soft Top Care.

I have a late 2005 S2000 which had the soft top replaced with a second hand one when I bought it from a local Honda dealer. Its in excellent condition and I`d like to keep it that way. I garage the car over winter and was wondering if I could treat the top with something like Fabsil, the stuff you put on canvas tents to waterproof them. Any advice or suggestions gratefully received.

This is what I've used since I bought my 03 New.OEM top lasted 11 years until it tore. Also use this on the new Robbins tops.

Good protection and sheds water like a duck.

I just treated my '09 this afternoon with Raggtopp Vinyl Protectant. I just got my car 2 weeks ago...I can say it looks great after treating...it looked great before though. I will be curious to see if it beads more next time she gets washed.

You'll find both 303 and Raggtopp highly recommended here.

Both are great products.

I've used both and now only use 303 because I buy it by the gallon off Amazon and use it on the interior and head and tail lights on all my cars. A gallon lasts me a couple of years and it's way cheaper to buy it that way (last time I bought some it was about $46 for a gallon jug--less than half the price of buying it in smaller bottles) It's easier for me to buy and use one product for everything.

Thanks for the replies. The cheapest I`ve found 303 in the UK is around $25 for a 16oz spray bottle. I`ll give it a go.

Yes--- if it's an OEM top it's vinyl so you'd use the regular 303 aerospace protectant. The fabric guard is great stuff but for fabric rather than vinyl.

Ok sounds good. Im trying to compare this to Raggtop and see which one is worth getting. Trying to avoid buying them both just for the sake of trial and error.
