How can I maintain my softop so it won't rip what do I need to buy

Wear is going to happen whether you like it or not. Anytime you put your top back up take a few seconds to look for wear marks. The earlier you detect it, the later you can delay replacing.

Once you see wear marks, go ahead and throw a patch up there.

The elastic straps will also eventually wear out. Fix: http://www.modifry.com/products/ctf/index.htm

303 Aerospace protectant will do the jon, hard to find and pricey, about $15 a bottle over the internet

Thanks kimimila ill try to find it and the when I got my car it came with a oem car cover if my car is dusty will that scratch my car I recently washed it

Also keeping your top clean can help.
A dirty top when you let it down will/can speed up wear.

If there is a boat shop near where you live you can find top care products there.
