Default Some of my paint is coming off when i polish/wax

When I buff my car my towel picks up some of the red paint... should this be happening?

Some paint removal is normal when you polish. Pure real or synth wax doesn't do that. The paint removal is due to solvents and/or abrasives in the polish.

Not normal on a clear coated car. If you have an S2000 I wonder if you have buffed away the clear coat.

Some clears are tinted. Anyone know if the S2K's has tinted or transparent clear coat.

i agree with boughtans2k...
either your car was not properly clear coated, or you are wearing through it already (it is possible that you have one area that is worn through and causing the color- shouldnt be happening already, and certainly not on the whole car)! you should not be getting body color on your rags from our cars.
not sure what you can do about it now- take it back to the dealer under a warranty claim? yeah, right! its hard enough to get them to fix things that they can see...

I thought the red does not have the clear coat and only metallic and pearl paints do. Anyway, are you using a cleaner wax? This does not sound normal for a wax with no cleaners in it.
