Talking Some new products in this weekend.

So i got most of my order from DD on Saturday, my swissvax wheel brush my 1z cockpit cleaner are still on back order. But I did receive my first ever wheel wax. I went straight for the good stuff and got the Swissvax Autobahn. I have to say, at first I was put off by how small the tub was but as I was walking out to start cleaning the car I started thinking... "Maybe its just a really hard wax and will last almost forever." Luckily I was right. Did all four wheels and barely made a dent in the wax. I ended up applying it via one finger since I didn't have a small applicator that could fit the contours of the wheel. This method seemed to work pretty well but how do you guys do it? Just a regular microfiber cloth? Anyway, onto the good stuff, pictures.

Posting thumbnails since these are high res pictures and I like them that way. Oh yeah and s2ki doesn't automatically resize them.

This is the wheel after initial cleaning but no wax. This is not the same wheel as in the other pictures. I had a brain fart there and ended up being rushed to get them done.

Wheel with wax applied and the product on display.

Buffed off and shiny like it should be.

Also got some adams AIO and the wheel wells thank me for it.

great job!!

i hear ya on badge removals... they are a pia.

btw, welcome to the club- not many of us "hand rub" waxes, but you are now one of us! gotta be careful on wheels cause you can cut your fingers, but sounds like you did just fine. next you gotta try hand rubbing your paint- its a new experience. my main tip is to be sure to keep the product light.

Can you hand rub liquid wax on paint? I don't have any quality paste waxes at this point...

yes you can rub liquid wax on by hand with a foam app. or you can apply using a PC and either a red or blue pad at the lowest speed.
