Some Serious Arm Work Out!!!
Just did my Zaino bit all over again!!!
Z1, then claybar, Z2 - will do Z6 and another layer of Z2 tomorrow.
Lexol'd my seats.
Finally got around to installing my front & side grill. Maybe post pics soon...
Note about Claybar - I thought it was like clay - you know "dirt" but in actuality it's like some platicky gum like bar. However, my paint job feels SOOOOO SMOOOOOTH!!!
2 more layers of Z2 to go!!!

WoofWoof - Would you say that you can SEE the difference that the claybar made, or just feel it? I didn't do the claybar, but I have 1 coat of Z5 and 2 coats of Z2 on my red. Anybody have an opinion as to whether another coat of Z2 would make a noticable difference?
I'm going to put on my first application of Zaino tomorrow and the instructions say to use Dawn to wash the car initially. Do you have to use Dawn, or is any kind of dishwashing liquid okay?
Should be.
1. Wash with Dawn and dry
2. Z-18 Claybar
3. Rewash with Z-7 and dry
4. Z-1 Polish Lok let haze and leave on.
5. Z-2 Polish
6. Z-6 Gloss Enhancer
7. Repeat steps 5 and 6
WoofWoof if you put Z-1 Polish Lok on then Z-18 Claybar you took all the Z-1 Polish Lok off. So you need to start over.

Regarding your claybar experiences...
Having heard so much about claying and Zaino (and still not convinced that it's right for my Speed Yellow Boxster), I bought a claybar from Mothers and took it to my 1998 black Ford Taurus. Not exactly an S2000 or Boxster, true, but an interesting test mule nonetheless.
No doubt, I could feel that the paint seemed smoother. And yet, after much much much elbow grease (clay, Meguiars Cleaner, Meguiars Polish, Blitz wax), I really can't tell any substantial difference between the clayed and non-clayed surfaces appearance-wise.
I'm starting to think the only way to produce better results would be to use a buffer.
Am I NOT seeing things, or has your experience with claybar been different than mine?

I just used the claybar and it definitely picks up things that my wash mitt didn't. I washed my car with dishwashing liquid twice. Then I used the clay bar and it was still picking up all this stuff. You occasionally look at the clay bar and you'll see the debris on the clay itself. Then you just stretch it and fold it to get a clean side of the clay. Man it took me a long time to do the whole car. I think it's worth it.
