Default Spotting swirl marks

I know we have an extensive wacko membership here, so I have a question for all of you!

When you go out to your cars every morning/evening/whenever, do you always inspect for swirls, etc?

I have gotten my paint to 100% swirl free, and I'm almost disappointed that I don't have any swirls to correct sometimes. I always go out to my car, and I look at the paint for a good 5 minutes most days SEARCHING for those swirls, and they just simple don't show up!

Call me crazy, but sometimes I look forward to doing a little paint correction when I have no customer details to do.

Post up your experiences!

Aaron

A little off topic though, I have noticed that after about 2 weeks my Lusso Oro is BARELY beading anymore! Whats up with that? I even put on two coats and its already gone?? Maybe I am not applying right or something?

Twanksta really?! I haven't applied oro in about a month to a month and a half, and my car still beads like it did from day one of polishing.

That's very odd!

Another side note: Getting jeatseal109 and zymol vintage next week! I can't wait to try the two out together on a customer detail that's coming up at the same time.

I think that's one of the good things about silver--it's hard to spot swirls, although I can find them if I REALLY want to. Try looking at the car in the late afternoon with sunglasses on, or you can use some halogens instead from a distance. This is one of the only ways I can spot swirls on silverstone, personally.

Lusso Oro is a carnauba, right? If so, that's probably why it's not lasting very long. I haven't found a carnauba that will last more a month on a black car that sits outside regularly. Do you keep your car garaged? Or is it outside most of the day?

About half-half, it sits outside most of the day but garaged at night...lol. I guess I will just be spending TONS of money to keep my Berlina waxed. Maybe it didnt bond well or something...

Check and check!

Looked in direct sunlight with polarized glasses... nothin!

And I have halogens that I use for detailing cars, and I can't spot any swirls on the car. Not that I'm mad about it though!
