Default squeaky noise

Anyone ever hear the rubber squeak when the top goes up ? I just cleaned the car and put some vinyl and rubber cleaner on it and it still squeks. Then just for test purposes i sprayed a little gunk on a cloth and rubbed iton the rubber. The squeak went away but i really dont want to revert to gunk. Any suggestions for the next time the squeak comes back ?

Thanks,

shin etsu grease is what honda recommends for the top seals...
its great stuff, but expensive-
rubber dries out, and shin etsu re-moisturizes it.
