Default Stiff Plastic strip below plastic rear window

The stiff plastic strip below the rear window has started to come loose and is vibrating against the top at higher speeds. Any ideas on what type of adhesive should be used to re-attach this strip?

loose as it coming off?

it is held on by about 10 bolts down inside...
page 20-80 of the shop manual

i am guessing that it just needs to be tightened- but i also noticed that this might not be easy.
i think you have to take the top off first if i am reading the manual correctly...

the strip i'm talking about is a stiff piece of hard plastic just below the bottom of the plastic window panel on the inside. It runs the length of the window and is about half-inch thick. The strip looked to be glued to the inside of the soft-top. It's purpose is probably to keep the plastic window pulled tight or flat.

It has come unglued at one end and about six inches of it has separated from the fabric.

Does that help?

i thought you were talking about the plastic strip on the outside of the car...
now that i see that you are talking about interior:

on page 20-50 is the interior "rear tray" and "rear tray rear trim" (which i assume you
are talking about). it is held on by 3 clips. sounds like one or more of yours are either broken or loose. shouldnt be hard to fix without glue.
do you have a helms manual? it shows the part and how it is attached...
worst case, your dealer could easily fix this

I do not have that manual. The strip does not appear to be held with clips but rather adhered directly to the fabric of the top, but I will look more closely. All else fails, I will go to the dealer. thank you for the feedback.
