What is a good drying cloth to use.
My 2 sense:
1. Surface Prep is KEY.
Your car surface needs to be smooth and contaminant-free every single time you wash. (See Clay Bar threads to help with this)
2. Technique is CRITICAL.
Whether one uses 100% cotton towels or Microfiber; wax applicators; I believe it makes no difference if the user has no clue on what technique to use and/or how to wash, dry & wax the car correctly.
3. Protection is IMPERATIVE.
On a regular basis, Zaino your car; carnuba wax your car, etc..whatever, as long as you're applying some sort of protection on your surface correctly. See #2 Technique.
3. Inspect your car DAILY.
Look over your car each day for any new marks, dirt, road tar, etc. Takes less than a minute if you know your surface well enough. Make a mental note to yourself if you see anything unusual or different from the last time you inspected it, so the next time you wash your car, you'll be aware of it and take the proper measures to rid your car of the contaminant.
This stuff takes time. If one is truly dedicated to a swirl-free car, it does not come without a price; the extra awareness and work needed to insure your car is just like it was off the showroom floor.
Oh, and P.S. Stay away from automatic car washes and do not let anyone else wash/dry & detail your car. TRUST NO ONE. Do it yourself.

Is it true thar every car has swirl marks once you wash the car you can see the swirl mark with the naked eye when the sun shines on the car.
