Default Testing the spotbot

Just got it in the mail, used Megs APC. I picked this over the little green because so many people complain about the little green and no one complains about the hose on this, plus its good for using in the house.
Before:

After:

Used it to clean a carpet spot that was chunky first, then the trunk mat of my mother's rav4 because I needed something light to play with it on since my s2k is black/black. For the Megs apc I filled it to the lines for their solution, the tank says for use with bissel's product only, screw that!

Overall are you satisfied?

Is the stain any more visible after drying?

Did you use APC or APC+? How much foaming did you have?

No the stain isn't more visible after drying, it looks funky because you know when you brush carpet in one direction or the other it turns dark/bright so it tricks you into thinking you might not have gotten it clean from something brushing up on it and getting it dark, I smooth it all in one direction to get it light to see the stain is out.
There is no foaming, I actually don't like the fact that it doesn't have enough water in the spray and spilled water on purpose onto a few parts to spread around and extract more product out. Many people complain the little green leaves it too damp, the hose on this certainly won't, but using the spotbot auto brush will and you should use the hose after using the auto feature because many people complain it leaves a circle cleaner than the carpet around it and whatnot, so use the hose to suck out moisture and even it up.
I used APC+, It's probably diluted about 1:15 or 1:30, not sure how big the container is.
It is inconvenient time wise and it requires a lot of brushing to get dirt/product/water out. I like how you can see the product being sucked up in the brush to know if there is still moisture left in an area.
Overall I am satisfied and based on the reviews I am having none of the problems the little green has, but it surely can't be better than a real carpet cleaner that is full size because it takes so much time to get results with this. It'll do the job on a car interior, just on a full size suv it might take 1.5-2 hours to get the carpet and floor mats including the trunk and seats clean. Its auto clean feature will be handy around the house!

I use a little green when I detail. Key to keeping it going strong is to perform a through cleaning when done. i run clean hot water through the spray nozzle and also suck up the water for a few minutes and have had no issues with it.

I will however say it does tend to leave things on the damp side. I usually throw some dehumidifying bags in the car while I do the rest of the detail to help pull the moisture our of the fabric and air.

I will have to try the APC though, the Bissel stuff has worked well for me... Just don't use Bissel stuff and coat the mats with Adams Carpet Cleaner... that makes for a foamy mess!

Great! I was going to pick one up to, but I thought it might be redundant with my Hoover Steamvac (it doesn't really steam) but it's incredibly unwieldy and the hose attachment sucks (not in a good way). It's great for cleaning large areas but is very inconvenient when, uh, my dog doesn't feel well.

It looks like the Bissel hose attachment did a pretty good job - did you have any issues with it at all? Leaking, spraying cleaner everywhere, etc?

Looks like a nice unit. I've got a little green heated unit, but like SilverS2k said, it leaves the interior damp. I really wish I had either the money or business to get a decent steam extractor (not to mention a place to put it). I tend to avoid heavy interior details and use a steamer to deal with most spots.

I did have to take apart the little green to clean out the inlet and outlet of the heating/pump unit, which made it spray again. But it's lasted a good 6+ years with infrequent use. NOT using a solution in the water tank will probably help to alleviate those kinds of problems. Anymore I spray my cleaner directly on the fabric and just use the hot water to distribute and suck that up.

No issues with the hose, only leak issue was with the dirty water tank, when dumping it in the toilet it flows out both sides and can result in getting dirty water on the ground if you didn't have both sides inside the toilet as you dump it out. The hose has a ton of junk sitting in it after cleaning so it does require sucking up clean water a few times to clean it after every use with the hose.
The spray mostly goes down where the hose attachment head is and then you spread it back and forth as you vacuum it causing a little bit of foaming.
I couldn't really get it to clean out the seats because it didn't suck up what I sprayed down, I keep a glass of water by me when I am working, if there is anything hard to get out I use the water and suck it out to get more product out, and like on my parents Rav4 my father had spilled coffee a long time ago and I kept using product and pouring water on it to suck out the coffee.

Cool BlackBear, I ordered one from Amazon and it should arrive tomorrow. I decided to get it mainly because I have carpet stains in my home I want to try the spot clean on. The Hoover is just too large and bulky - I would still use it to clean my floor mats and home carpet, but it's so unwieldy for a spot and the attachment blows (literally).

Dog poop + carpet + stairs = PITA
