He's a couple of links to tests in the UK. A couple of the 'winners' have been mentioned here already- a good read regardless.

You're right, NXT 2.0 doesn't last long at all.

I invested in wolfgang fuzion and it is very worth it. It has great shine and seems to last forever. Not sure if the deal is still going on but I got a free refill when I bought mine. I've been trying to use it up to get the refill but its hard when the wax lasts so long.

seamus: AWESOME links - Thanks!

Tea: This aint the first time I read about Wolfgang Fuzion today watching this fOREVEr race - thanks!

I am leaning towards Wolfgang but a friend called that has the DP Max so a test patch is taking a ride on the wing this week, next week, and til the end of the month!

After that Wolfgang may get a chance or one of the products in the last link from seamus.

EVERYONE - Thanks and by no means stop posting the fantastic ideas!

Change of plans!

Wing will get a 50/50. Half in DP Max and the other in Wolfgang Fuzion. Autogeek is providing 3oz and I am sure the wing will provide an adequate test surface for the next couple of weeks! I'll post a start picture and a weekly image of beading...

Wolfgang Synthetic is great, lasts a long time on my escape and my wife's Lexus. I use it on the S as a base and top with a good Caranuba, I use Pinnacle Souvern for my caranuba.

I have recently started using Werkstat Acrylic Jett Trigger. There is not a sealant out there that beats it in ease of use. It seems to last a long time too (I did top it with a carnuba though). It gives the paint a nice depth too it, and it makes the paint OH so smooth. You can tell what has and hasn't been sealed just by feel alone. I have used it on several customer cars, and they have all been astounded.

If durability is a decisive concern, then by all means try one of the Collinites. I'd probably go with 915. You can get it from our sponsor, Detailers Domain. I'm sure you will not be disappointed either in looks, beading, or durability. It always gets great reviews.

Ha I just picked up 2 bottles of 18 oz nxt basically $5 each 2 weekends ago. $10 for the gift kit at my target, bought 2 with a $20 rebate on my keyboard that finally came ($1 gaming keyboard ftw). If you are interested check your target if you go there, sounds like the kit is running $5-15 at most targets.
From what I hear NXT is like a cheap generic wax.
Not to thread jack, just a heads up if you are interested. I don't expect much from a cheap wax, and I don't expect much from a $2000 wax either tbh lol. I don't think the quality will double between a $60 wax and $2000 meh.

some mentioned about topping synthetic off with carunaba wax, but

does topping synthetic wax with carunaba wax makes the life span shorter?

in other words, does the carunaba wax eats over the synthetic instead of stacking it?
