Default thin fragile paint?

everyone keeps talking about how thin and fragile the paint on the S is but in my experience its pretty tough. Coming from having a Scion which had horrible paint the S's paint is pretty nice.

My question with that in mind is, has anyone tried wetsanding and buffing their S yet? I hate orange peel and I wanna get rid of it, just need to know how much room I have to work.

thanks guys

I have found the paint to be a pain in my rear thus far...But that only makes it more fun (or so I tell myself).

Here's one thread that shows wetsanding...

I know animes2k had one too somewhere...

A detailer shop was debadging the stock H symbol on the front bumper, he did it very carefully I know because I was watching. The paint chipped when he tried to wax the area.

IMHO, the s2000 paint is WOEFULLY thin. MY RL on the other hand, is tougher than nails.

All Honda paint is thin. Apparently, it helps them keep down costs.
