my 00 s2's top fitment doesn't sit flush to the windsheild. we've got a lot of rain in the bay area and the top didn't leak. but when im driving with the top up the wind noise is not bad but really annoying, is this normal for the top not being flush, any suggestion on how to fix it

You should install the hardtop strikers. All S2000s since about 2002 came with them from the factory.
