Default Trouble With Wax.....:( Help!

OK so I got this Black magic wax......i have tried tons of waxes befor and figured id give this one a shot, it was really cheap so i figured it wouldnt do that great of a job, but i like there other products alot so i tried it anyway just to see. Now my car is covered in this film of like oil.....it looks like i havnt got all the wax off but the more i buff there is no change, besides how the oil looks. You can rub it with your fingure and it feels slick like oil. I am going to wash my car today with nice car soap and see if that cuts through that stuff if not then i guess ill dawn the car to strip it all off.....any advice or tips on getting rid of this shit befor i dawn the beast?

I think Dawn would be your best bet. I wouldn't want any of that stuff left on there.

you could try a detail spray, but my guess is that taking it off and replacing it is the only thing you will be happy with. dawn is o.k. for occasional use (and is the right product for stripping wax), but try not to use it too often.

This is caused by the polymers in the wax bonding to the paint in a non-linear fashion - common on black and red paints. The detailing sprays remove and distribute it back into the paint more uniformly, eliminating the streaking.
