Washing Order of Sequence
What order of operations do you recommend for washing and cleaning the S? I’ll break it down into interior, maybe including leather care, soft top, car body, wheels and tires. Then I’d like to add in paint correction, polishing, and sealing/waxing. Glass cleaning; Metal polishing may also be included. Would you consider engine bay cleaning, too? What have I not thought about yet?
Yeah I know. Detailing is something I leave to the pros -- I'll need it next spring. Gotta be 100 YouTube videos on this and some include the S2000 as the subject car. Some of these look like they're preparing the car for open heart surgery they end up so clean. I hate driving really clean cars 'cuz all they do is get dirty.
The interior of my car seems to be a dust magnet so I'll keep watching the thread for clues there.

I have been using Griot's Garage Interior Cleaner and microfiber towel fairly regularly. It is pretty dusty in the desert that I live in. Dusting is a necessity.
I'm thinking of doing interior vacuuming and surface wipe down, then the wheels and tires wash first, then the soft top wash, followed by the body of the car. I'll be using my new pressure washer for the touchless wash and several rinse buckets prior to the suds bucket for the touch wash and then blow dry, patting any droplets with plush microfiber towels.. I'll probably either do the tire dressing and then clean the glass, following up with leather cleaning and conditioning. I'm still a little uncertain about detailing the paint. If I get out the DA polisher, it will be a first for me. Seems simple enough. If the top is dry by then, I'll condition the soft top.

For interior, I spray Nextzett Cockpit Premium and wipe down with microfiber towels. It's by far the best interior cleaner I've used to date.
Touchless wash doesn't do much. Foaming the car helps, but it needs to be followed up by soap & pads to really get dirt off. I'm in the northeast where it's getting really cold now, so instead of going for a full pressure washer + 2 bucket wash, I wash using ONR.
As for paint correction, s2k's paint is really weak and thin... So I wouldn't do a 2 step correction unless it's absolutely necessary. If the car isn't full of swirls, polishing with a DA should suffice.

Highly recommend Jescar's Micro Finishing Polish. M205 used to be my go-to polish, but I gave the Jescar a try for better residue control. Turned out great!
