Water Spots
After my first day track event, with the car covered in dirt, I parked in a corner space near grass. When I went out to the car to get dinner, water spots were all over the front in the hot afternoon sun; the sprinklers for the grass weren't set quite right.
Many of the water spots left stains on the cf Mugen hood. They did not wash out and were very difficult to get out with Imperial Hand Glaze. For some reason, the paint looked ok, but I had never waxed the hood.
When I went to Paintless Dent Professionals after the track event to get out trunk dents placed when I was moving the car around in the paddock to evenly cool the brakes, I just had them polish the cf hood. Looks good.
Watch out for hard water staining, folks.
