Just washed my car for the first time and I now have water spots all over the car. I guess it's our hard water. They are all over the plastic window. I've tried using the miracle cloth and they don't come off. Is there a way to remove these spots? Please help!!

Eleanor_01,

Please check out this thread, http://www.s2000online.com/forums/showthre...p?threadid=9082 for more information on water spots.

I use the synthetic chamois, the Absorber, to wipe down my rear window after washing. No spots.

Nice color choice!

When I have water spots on my plastic window, I let them dry and then I use Plexus...works great!

What's a miracle cloth? Did you thoroughly dry the car immediately after washing it? Sounds like it air dried. Are you saying that the spots won't wash off, or that they won't just wipe off (with the miracle cloth, I guess)? I gotta believe that Jay Li is right about the Plexus - surely that will get the spots off the rear window.

Use some vinegar. The spot's will come right off and it won't harm your paint in anyway.

see http://www.autopia-carcare.com/autopia/waterspots.html for details. The key to prevent spots from forming after washing is to dry washed areas IMMEDIATELY after rinsing. I use the Waterblade to swipe off large areas of water quickly then follow up with the Miracle Towel.
