Default Water Spots in my Hood!

how can i take em out??

BTW i have The PC7424 at Home with a lot of liquid waxes and polishing pad, i was thinking about using the orange one on the hood and the white pad for the rest of the car as always....

Do you guys think the white pad and some meguiars cleaner wax should do the job??

thanks

You need to invest in some polishes/compounds. Cleaner wax will not likely get the job done.

As with any defect I would go down this list until you've removed it:

1. Wash
2. Clay
3. Polish
4. Compound then polish
5. Wetsand then compound then polish
6. Re-paint

Any pics of said waterspots? Maybe like a light polish at first, and if that doesnt work, then a medium polish or compound is in order.

But try the clay first.

also depends on how long they have been there...
you could try a vinegar bath-
i would first try it undiluted on a few spots (wash car first and dry it)- if that works then go for the rest.
if it doesnt work, then move on to the suggestions above-

often water spots are alkaline deposits- vinegar is an acid and if your spot is alkaline enough, the vinegar will get it. if the spot has been there a while it could have "etched" the paint and the polish solution is likely it.
