I'm guessing that's his concern. You'll want a synthetic that doesn't dry white, applied VERY thin. Like a Zaino, Klasse AIO/SG combo, 4* UPP, etc. Pretty much any very thinly applied synthetic.
Some is bound to get jammed in the chips, but should clean out pretty easily when you buff it off.
Wanabe?

another solution, although its not the best wax, is color cure from autozone. Its a wax that comes in colors to match your car, black wax in your case..
I have used it in the past, not the best shine, doesnt last that long, but it sure does a great job filling it alot of those chips....

other than that the Klasse AIO/SG Combo should work really good.

Got a picture so what we can tell by your definition of "alot"? There was a guy with a bunch of chips on his NFR which he did an awesome job of getting back into shape.

just a suggestion, but on my buddy's black mustang, he has a lot of rock chips and he got some touch up paint and a fine paint brush and filled them in so it wouldnt be as noticable when he waxed it. You might try that. and then let it dry and wax over it. I never noticed any waz down in the rock chips after we did that on his car. I think the touch up paint from honda is like 10 or 15 bux if i remember correctly.

I picked up one of those pen paint chip fillers from handa accessories... works great. I also tried regular honda touch up paint with an artist brush and the pen was much more convenient.
