Wax - Effectiveness of Paste vs Liquid
Carnauba liquid wax-a liquid wax contains between 5 and 25% Carnauba by volume. These products are easy to apply because they are diluted with solvents and/or oils to provide spread ability, they offer moderate durability.
Carnauba paste wax-usually contains between 20 and 35% Carnauba by volume. They give a deeper shine and increased durability over its liquid counterpart.

FMINUS
What do you prefer? Also how do you fight against contamination in the jar when using paste? No matter how hard I try wax never is clean as a whistle after couple uses.
Kinda the reason why I prefer liquid.

I've found that if I use a liquid, I tend to go through the bottle quicker. I believe for two reasons.
1- applicator tend to soak up some of the liquid
2- tend to be more generous that I probably should with a liquid
For the last two years on my S I've only been using a paste and just find it more rewarding. I guess it's really a mental thing.

I am using NXT from meguiars and it seems like it takes a lot longer to dry when compared to paste. Glossy isn't all that great either, may be it is because I am polishing the car with my hands rather than using porter cable. NXT isn't that bad though, simply for its ease of use.
