mothers wax kicks a__
I use commercial dressing from my bro's dealership, shiny but doesn't last long at all.
I think I might give that 303 stuff a go, but I don't think they sell it in Canada.
I use mothers carnauba wax and nothing looks, smells, feels, or shines better and longer. I have experience, I used to detail cars as a teenager at the dealership, that's all we used for serious cars.

I use that Eagle Tire Wet... But I spray it on a wax applicator pad and then scrub it in the tire.. The final product is a tire that's very clean and very even looking, without getting that stuff allover the wheels...
Just my 2 cents

I use the Turtle Wax "Tire Wax". It stays on for a couple of weeks and DOES NOT sling off, but it starts to streak a little after a week or so. It's cheap, though (how much is the 303?) and smells pretty good, but who really smells the tires anyway (besides us )? I'll use this until I run out then maybe I'll try the 303 if the price is reasonable.

Cleaning the tire first is probably more important than dressing it. For me, the best stuff I've found is Amazing Roll Off. Spray it on, and immediatley you see the brown crap starting to run off. I just pressure wash it off, but you could use a brush and water just as well.
With defference to those who like Meguiar's Endurance, the purple goop that smells like a grape lolli-pop, I've not found it to be very good at all. It is streaky and doesn't last...who knows, maybe I just didn't apply it correctly, but such a simple task should not require any special technique. I think 303 or Black Magic are both great.

I have used every product previously mentioned in this thread and have found the 303 to be the best product to use on tires. 303 seals the rubber sidewall, provides UV protection which prevents "browning" of the rubber composite, and is the best long term solution.
