or more info at:

nxt is actually several products, but the one you are most likely asking about is above.

it is basically a synthetic polymer that acts like a cleaner. it will remove other products that are on the car (including nxt), so it isnt any good for using as a topper or in a sandwich (except maybe as the base). but it has gotten good reviews on this board.

does that help?

Pretty good stuff, I must say.
Anyone know how long it would last?

This may be slightly off topic but, I just recently tried NXT for the first time after having my car clayed, and I was fairly impressed actually. The shine is nice, not extrordinary, but pretty good, it does a nice job of covering swirl marks/spider-webs, the paint is soft and slick to the touch, and the protection seemed good which I noticed since it rained the other day, although only time will tell how long the protection will last. With all that said, my question is this... Is there anything else out there that can be used to top NXT in order to enhance the shine even more? I used to use Liquid Glass on my Z28, and on my Eclipse as well which is a polish/sealant (sp?) and can be layered, and I was thinking about applying a coat of it on top of the NXT to see if that would improve the shine even more. Is this pointless? Is there a different, better product for this? Any other comments and or suggestions are welcome, and thank you.

P.S. - Sorry for jacking your thread Eri.

yup- need4sp28,
we think that you can top it with carnuba.
i am waiting for a report of p21s over nxt (have had several pms of guys telling me they will try this soon, but dont recall anyone posting up the experience yet).
i think that might solve one of the problems you suggest (not getting extraordinary shine).

I've topped nxt with S100 with good results looks great but i have a white car so the shine really isn't that deep

S100 is the same as P21 but a little less expensive and can be found at most Harley stores

There are a bunch of NXT + another wax on top over at Autopia.org. I agree with Wanabe, top it with a carnuba.

I'm taking wanabe's advice and order the p21 thingy.
I may not have time to do it any time soon though.
