What is top made of? PVC? Help?
I've seen many threads on what the top is made of, but does someone know for certain what it is? And based on this, what is a decent over the counter cleaner and protectant. I don't want to have to order throught the web. I just like being able to go into a store and pick something up? If it's PVC, I am assuming a vinyl cleaner and protectectant would be ok. Any confirmed info out there?
Thanks, guys.

As already stated the top is PVC. 3M 303 is good stuff. But I love RaggTopp much better. Many owners here use it likewise. Repels water, maintains a very BLACK look, and preserves and protects against UV. Check it out:

Unfortunately, I live in Colorado and Marina's (or even just Marine stores) are pretty hard to find. Is there a product that I can pick up in the local auto shop that anyone can reccommend?
The Porsche stuff if for canvas tops, but I still recommend the top cleaner. That stuff makes the top look super black. Add the 303 and the top will look like silk.
I ordered both from http://www.properautocare.com

Lexol Vinelx works fine on the top. Just rinse your top off with the shower selection on your hose nozzle, wipe it if you must with whatever you use to wash the rest of the car.
Dry the top off and spray it with the Vinelx. You can either spray it directly on the top and spread it with an applicator, or spray it on an applicator and apply the applicator to the top to spread the Vinelx around.
Inevitably you'll get some Vinelx where you don't want it, so do the top before you wax your car or do the final wipe down on your windows. Kinda like when you put tire shine on your tires and get some on your wheels.
You should be able to get Vinelx at any chain auto parts store. Applys relatively easily and to me, puts just the right sheen on the top. You can use Vinelx on your interior plastic too. Follow that up with Lexol Leather Cleaner and treatment for your leather and now your officially an advertisement for Lexol.
