Default what type of pad to use with window polish

I used a finishing pad with my UDM and einziet (sp) window polish and I really didn't notice much of a difference in the windshield of my beater. The previous owner must of had some sand on the window wiper blades that left visiable maks on the windshield. I can't feel them with my fingernail but they are there.

Should I try a more aggressive pad?

Matt

gotta be careful polishing glass... you can try more aggressive pads- i always test in a corner of the glass first. try it there to see how it does.
glass polishes are best for removing lime, calcium or other mineral deposits- or stubborn bugs, etc. they do not do much for glass pits.

and the udm is a good idea- tape the edges, if you need to, and work a corner first to see how its doing. btw, similar to paint polishes, you gotta work the product til it dusts in small areas of glass.

Alternative products / methods:
a) Apply Zaino Z-12 with a damp cotton cloth to cool glass, apply to small sections at a time and allow to completely dry, buffing with a clean dry cotton towel. If there is any smearing or residue left just use Stoner
