I got my 05 in September of 05. Washed twice since...

It is a lease, so I do not really care about the paint. I let a bird crap sit on the hood for weeks.

First year- once a week, since then roughly once a month (but very labor intensive), but then again it stay's garaged, covered and is only driven on beautiful days. After a drive I go over it with speed shine (Griots Garage), looks freshly waxed.

I am sure the next owner appreciates that.

Must be a slow day on the other boards... it is surprising that so many "non-washers" be reading this forum.

I wash/clean mine about once every 2-3 weeks. That's a general exterior wash/wheels/ general cleaning of interior (I give the seats a good cleaning with some Meguire's leather stuff).

About every 2-3 months I'll claybar/polish/wax, degrease/clean engine and re-apply this windscreen stuff that makes the rain run off a lot better
