When to start treating leather?
I'm wondering after how long I should wait b4 applying leather treatment to my new S2K which is now 8 months old. I only use it on the weekends and the leather still smells new but winter is coming... any advice?
thanks

8 month old car eh?
look inside the driver's door for date the car was actually made. that's the month your "8" month old seats were installed - not made just installed. i doubt the seats were made at the exact same time the car was put together however. so...
the 07 you're driving could have been made in 2006 (my '04 was made december 03), and the seats COULD be maybe a month or two older than that... which mean you're leather is two years old without treatment.
thats not all bad of course as many owners with leather never treat their surface. i'm just trying to give you an idea of what you're honestly looking at. go ahead and give the leather a nice cleaning, then come back and massage some conditioner in. wait a while, and buff off.
and how about some pics of that non-North America available-colored S?
