I don't like the foam gun for the garden hose. It doesn't stick like the foam you would get from the pressure washer. The foam from the pressure washer comes out as thick as shaving cream.

Pressure washer with foam cannon. electric PW will work also.

Not all soaps will work with the cannon.
Best soaps for Cannon are:
CG CWG
DG 901
DP Extreme Foam

I also own 2 foam guns, they do not even come close to foaming the same as the foam cannon. I use them only when Im in a rush.

The guy who I bought it from is kinda flaky and have screwed a couple of people out of their guns so I would not recommend him. They are still complaints about him and his Paypal account is frozen.

Another vendor in the UK sells these. They are about $150 just for the attachment not including the hose or the pressure washer.

I will try to dig up the site

Mine work great. I can't imagine needing more. To me a foam as thick as shaving cream would be a negative. Different strokes I guess.

I rather have it as thick as shaving cream so it "sits" on the surface longer and then have it pull dirt down on it's own. To me the garden hose foam doesn't stick long enough for it to soak into the dirt and grime.

This may be a dumb question, but do you rinse off the foam and then start using the mitt and 2 bucket method to finish cleaing? Or do you just grab the mitt and start going to town using the foam that has been sitting on the car.

And do you rinse off the car first so it will be wet before you spray the foam on or just bareback it and spray it on the dry car without any rinsing?

I soak the entire car with deionized water, then I pressure wash the hard spots. Then spray the foam. Let sit, pressure wash it off, spray foam again.

I then use a sea foam or mitt depending on the condition of the car to wash the foam off with a rinse bucket.

I no longer use a 2 bucket method.
