Well, the thing is, once you start peeling, you're committed.
Hey, it's gotta' be at least 3 oz. of weight. That's like 0.5HP at the butt dyno!

Almost 5 years of wondering, I can't believe that I'm just finding out about this and always wondered why some weren't black. I can't wait to go do this I think it looks so much better without it, HT or no HT. I keep my car garaged and only have 20K miles on it so I hope the paint isn't too different.

Before you start. Be sure to read this entire thread.
So you know what you are getting into.
I think I used a can of adhesive and tar remover (that we had at the dealership when I worked there, we used it for EVERYTHING)
and it was supposedly safe for clear coat.....
Didn't hurt my car. Plus after I finally got all the sticky off I used some buffing compound (had 2 bad spots) and glaze.
oh and buy a case or two of beer. Sometimes it takes a while.
