Default Woolite vs Lexol...

Well, Woolite won by a knock out!!

I used 1:6 Woolite on my tan seats and I used the Lexol cleaner. The Lexol did NOTHING compared to the Woolite. I had some black dirt stains on the seats and they came right off with the Woolite after some good agitation.

While I have yet to use the forum favorite Townsends leather cleaner, my experience with leather cleaners in general is that they're too gentle to clean effectively. My only concern when using a cleaner not specifically for leather is the long term effects on the leather.

Well, the PH balance is neutral for the Woolite. I guess after you're done with the Woolite, you can condition the leather with the Lexol.

just picked up some lexol ph cleaner and conditioner last week. was pretty happy with the results, although my leather doesnt have much dirt/grime on it. the lexol does a nice job at getting greasiness out, especially on the steering wheel.
