Default Yet another...

Just washed my new S2K for the first time (mostly to get the front brake dust off, ycch), and discovered that washing a small car like this is much easier than I'm used to.

With my Audi allroad, a mid-sized station wagon, there were four more windows and the whole roof, not to mention the back doors and so on. But these guys are simple. What a deal! HPH

yup- it is a small car and easy to wash...
that makes it easier to get into more advanced detailing!
like claying, polishing, engine compartment and wheel maintenance, etc.

The small size allows your detailing products to last longer.

Yep, except with those twin tailpipes, polishing the inside takes a lot longer. HPH

Haha - haven't been there yet, however - I found myself carefully cleaning and waxing the exhaust tips and wheels this afternoon. Frequent washing gives me a good excuse to admire the car; better than just standing in the garage staring at it. Afraid I am becoming a little obsessive compulsive where my S2000 appearance is concerned. But it is such a sweet, sweet package.

Hey 2Red2K - so go ahead and be obsessive. It's great therapy !

I've had my 05 NFR for 10 days and I still can't believe how sweet it is.

I detailed it to the max when I first brought it home and there are times when I have to go out to the garage and just look at it. What amazes me is how great a design it is. I don't blame Honda for keeping the current design (who knows about the 06 model?). If you have a winner why change it !
