Default Z2Pro issues?

So I finished up my bottle of "regular" Z2 and started the bottle of Z2Pro. First thing I noticed is that it is THICK. I added ZFX as I usually do (and did an hour or two before with the Z5) and it thickened up like mad. Washing out the bottle was a pain and took a lot of effort. I noticed a couple gummy blobs in there, as well (as if the ZFX hadn't mixed properly, regardless of the fact that I'd shaken it vigorously for 2 minutes).

Anyone else experienced this? Should I just skip the ZFX with the Z2Pro (even though the bottle recommends it)?

Applying it, I just made sure to wet the applicator with Z6 so that it went down smoothly.

Thanks,
- Chris

very weird to see the z2 Pro thick like that..

shake the orig bottle vigorously

mine is slightly thinner than the old z2

works fine with zfx

if it is your FIRST application, i too recommend using zfx and it should not "thicken" it.. as its simple a few chemical drops to help drying

if this still does not work take your bottle back to your Zaino distributor and get another, as i've seen zaino gone bad in the bottle..

good report-
i assume you shook it well and were careful in measuring?
outdoor temp was good?

sounds like i might have to ask sal if the product can be thinned...

Hmm, yeah... I'll have to call Zaino (ordered direct). It's way thicker than my regular Z2 was. Both the Z2Pro bottle and Z2Pro+ZFX mixture were shaken as vigorously as I could muster. I don't think temperature was an issue, as the Z5+ZFX was perfectly fine and a week or so ago the regular Z2+ZFX was applied in roughly the same temperature (maybe even cooler) without issue.

Thanks for the input.

My Z2 pro isn't thick like that and mixed easily with ZFX.

Well, I talked to Sal and he said he "changed up the base of the product" which yeah, I figured, but he didn't seem to be concerned about this stuff. I'm feeling sort of SOL here, cuz I tried to explain that it was certainly not AT ALL what I was used to, having been through a few bottles of regular Z2 and Z5.

I dunno what to do, considering all of you seem to have the same (if not thinner) viscosity product than we had before.

*shrug*

I've had no problems with mine. It is actually thinner than the original and much easier to clean out of the bottle

The little bottle you used to mix Z2 pro & ZFX in was it brand new or used?

They were brand new bottles. Sal just shrugged it off, said "yeah it's thicker" and "it doesn't matter what the bottle looks like, just don't leave like 1/4 bottle worth of product in there".

I did JUST get it... perhaps he switched it up just recently?
