Zaino Clay question
As I was starting to clay may car yesterday I noticed that the clay was deteriorating. Some small clay particles are falling off and the clay is getting softer and softer. I have used mothers clay before and it wasn't like this.
I used z7(zaino wash) as the lubricant. Z7 was mixed with water and was used in a sprayer.
Anyone have any ideas?

the clay has either dried out, or possibly over saturated with liquid. The Zaino clay bar does have this unfortunate feature to it. I noticed it during the summer, if you over saturate it with any mixture say Z6 H20 or z7 & H20 it crumbles and is rendered useless..
i guess its a built in obsolescence

I used Mothers because I decided at the last minute to clay. ( I had already bought the Zanio stuff and could not wait) Loved the Mothers. Just used the same bar on wife's X-terra with no problems.

I usually use Mothers claybar with the Mothers detail spray with no problem. On an older car, once I tried the Mothers claybar with a mixture of Z7 and water and the claybar turned really soft and unusable.
