I am about to re-apply the Zaino. It's been almost a year and it's still beading water!! What a GREAT product.

Here's my question...

The fininsh doesn't feel nearly as smooth as when I clay bar'd it and applied the Zaino. I can feel small imperfections as I run my hand over the surface.

I'm using the Zaino wash every time.

Should I re-clay bar and go through the process again?

Or should I just re-apply the Zaino after a good wash?

Thanks!

Claus

Does it feel smooth if you go over it with Z-6?

After one year, I would z7 wash, use the claybar, and then create the magic with z2 all over again

It smoothes up quite a bit with the Z6 but not like before!

The car does sit outside so I'm sure the weather is a MAJOR factor.

if the car is not smooth (i test with the backs of my fingers), that is the sign of a need for clay. clay will take out those "imperfections".
after you clay, you will need to reapply the zaino.

Thanks guys,

That's what I thought, just hoping that I wouldn't have to go the whole route again. But I did get a year out of it!!

Quick question for the readers.

Do you clay before using 3M swirl remover?

It would seem unnecessary but you guys will probably know.
