Default Zaino in the sun

I noticed that the z2 can be applied in the shade or the sun. Does the car surface have to be cool or can it be hot? It's pretty hard for me to find a time when my car surface isn't hot, as i don't have a garage and I live in Dallas. I did wake up early to apply the Z1 and Z5 because it says to apply those to a cool surface and in the shade, but the directions for the Z2 were unclear to me.

I would not use any product on the finish in the Texas sun, regardless of instructions.

In the sun is fine except for Z6. You shouldn't apply anything to a hot surface. As long as your car surface is cool, you can apply it in the sun.

I'd like to expand on this question. Today, I put Z5 on in the shade, but drove it out to the sun afterwards to speed up the drying process. Is this acceptable? After taking it off (I drove back under the shade), I noticed streak marks. I countered this by applying the gloss enhancer Z6, which helped, but there was still a little streaking. Maybe this will go away after the first wash Any opinions for optimum application? Thanks in advance.

That wasn't the best thing to do as the Zaino was still trying to dry and the paint becomes hot very fast. The streaks you are seeing is undried Zaino. You need to let it sit over night and then wash in the morning if you see that you can wipe the streaks away with a towel. If not, let it sit awhile longer and try again later. As soon as you can, wash and then throw a fresh coat on.

smccurry,
I see you're still waxing like crazy! I just put another coat on today so I shouldn't talk Hopefully my Zaino order will get here soon, as I'm anxious on trying it out.
