Default Zaino Z6 Question

I did the entire Zaino process on my car this weekend, but there's some dust on it from driving and sitting since Saturday. Can I use the Z6 as a quick detail spray to remove the dust, or will the dust scratch? Do I need to rewash? No time! Going out tonight and I need shine!! Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks all, Chris

I'd get a California Duster and use that...
If that's not available, then I would use a quick detailer if it was ONLY DUST.

I'm not saying it's okay, as I don't know this. I would do it though.

I see nothing wrong with Z6ing it. I personally only use it intially then again when bugs get on it from driving. If it gets too dirty, I wash it. At all cost, I never want to scratch it. As long as it is just dust, you should be fine. Well, providing you don't have black(which I just noticed). My ZO6 vette was black and it showed swirls easily if not careful. If more than dust. Wait till rewash. And I am obsessed about my paint too. Just my .02

safest way is to dust the car first... then detail spray.

this is fine as long as the car has not been rained on or has any evidence of sand or dirt stuck to it (check the lower parts).

my car is black... gets washed every 3 mos or so and always looks like it just got off the showroom floor- cause of the duster, detail spray and the car cover.

i use a calif duster (have one for each of my cars)...
similar to this :

my process is similar to the dry method in this article:
http://www.bettercarcare.com/articles.php?articleId=22

and use the honda cover (have two of them- so that when one is dirty i still have a fresh one)- i dont live where i have to worry about weather very much so the honda cover is fine for me. if you have rain or park outside much the honda cover is not likely your best choice.
