I'm curious to know ... what color is the console? Looks dark grey or black to me, but I'm not exactly sure. It might make a nice spare part for my '04 Suzuka AP2, depending on the color.

Is the console relatively easy to remove/install?

 

This one should be from an '04-'05 so it should be the same as yours and yes, it's quite easy.
