I have a 2002 honda s2000 and i like the ap2 center console better however, will the ap2 center console fit the ap1, will i need to mod things to make it fit? I am looking to but it from my honda dealership if not much moding is needed! Also the tweeter cover on the ap2 looks much better than that on the ap1 what is required to change that out? Thanks for you help

Center console yes.

I don't think the tweeter grills would be an easy swap. You'd be better off with an entire AP2 door panel which is a direct swap in an AP1.

 

Okay perfect also i know hardtopguy.com sells the conversion center console but wouldnt it be easier just to buy it from the honda dealership? Also is there a thread to show how to do the install?

 

Buy one used from the FS forum. They just pull straight up and off.

 

If you wanna pay out the ass for one, I'd go with a Honda dealership.

only the 04-05 is a direct swap, the 06+ (although fits) have the defrost button in the center console because of the VSA replaced the previous location.

 

dude the console requires not modding to install... i just did mine and installed ap2 door panels. I got the door panels for 150 flawless perfect condition and the console you should buy off ebay they go for about 200-300 bucks and most are in near perfect condtion. p.s i got my console off ebay for about 250 flawless condtion.
