Thanks for the suggestion ASIX. I just picked up a tube at REI in Clairemont and judging by the material, it will definitely patch up a dime sized hole I have in my soft top.

I wish tape could fix it haha , I have the old style plastic window so that finally ripped all the way through. Thanks for the suggestion though!

I have 18" OZ Superleggeras sitting in my garage if you want to buy. No tires on the rims, but you can get Sumitomo tires for pretty cheap and they are good in the dry. I paid $1,300 for the rims, asking $400. One has some rash from a curb strike while on a mountain run. PM me if interested.

No problem. Just remember to clean the area where you're going to apply the tape really well. I put my patch on the inside of the of the top (obviously) and used a wet, light colored towel ( so I could see how much dirt was left on the top) to get all the dust and dirt off the area around the tear. Then, I put a small amount of rubbing alcohol on the towel, and went over the area one more time. Then, I parked the car outside in the sun to let the cleaned area dry, and the fabric stretch a bit, since my tear was right over the rear soft top bar. Dont forget to round the edges of the tape too.
