What are the differences between a 00-01 and 02-03 for a track/HPDE car?
If you have an '00, make sure the 2nd gear synchronizer recall has been done. That's the only critical item I know of. Other changes include retuned dampers/springs/swaybars, stronger upper a-arms (important if you're running r-comps).

Otherwise, gut, cage and be merry.
Wanna know something funny, I have an '00 and my car never had the recall.. And we all know my mileage and driving habits.. Go figure

My civic looks to have given up the ghost last night on my way from work at 1140pm on the 163N slightly after the kearny villa exit.
Debating whether to keep it or give it to the state. Sad day. . This is my first project car. Lots of memories. I was going seventy then it slowly wouldnt translate the power, then stopped moving. Tried to turn the key and the car wont turn over, but all my lights stay on. Makes me sad. And it was my first car.

I dont know. with 134K on the on the odometer, it could be the timing belt, or 9 million other things. This was also my first car. Ill try and have a mech diagnose it this week and see if it is worth it. Oh well.
