Accident!
any guy typing like that who was serious i wouldnt take any lessons from.
go autocrossing. although i dont know how much it'd help you. help yes. prevent freak accidents in the rain, not so much. u'll learn car control in the dry but water and bad tires make our cars do some weird crap
unless..... it was raining during the autocross...@_@

every vehicle i've ever owned, and i've owned lots of vehicles... i took out, somewhere safe (of course) and took it to all the edges just to know how it and i reacted and handle it...

You can say what you want but I wasn't speeding so don't make assumptions. Accidents can happen to anyone at anytime.
im just saying what he's advocating is not likely conducive for a long ownership for a car. (for example drifting down the road in a new-to-you car)
