Default Auto Cross?

Whats going on guys i'm interested in hitting up some autocross tracks.. I was wondering what type of tracks do we have available in SD? whos going? Fees? car requirements etc?

I want to get started in this for a hobby I love my S2k and have had it for 2 years . I did a couple events back in the day in the Bay Area at an airfield we had but nothing too serious... I'm planning on be a regular and would appreciate any pointers etc...MY car is bone stock just looking to take it around some twisties... haha

Thx in Advance for any info

LATES!

http://www.sdr-scca.com/solo2/schedule/

It costs about 50 bucks to run on a practice day and about 40 to run on a championship weekend. Championship weekend you only get 4 passes, practice and test and tune weekends you should be able to get more in. Everything is located at the Q.

Today is Rallycross down at Soak City if anyone is intereseted in checking it out. Basically its autocross in the dirt, its pretty fun to watch and if you ask theres always someone willing to take you for a ride. Dont forget a helmet!
