Convertible top repair shop and body shop recommendation?
Hey guys,
My car recently got broken into - person slashed the top, and then stepped on the passenger side front fender to climb into the car, denting it.
Insurance will be paying for these repairs, but I was wondering if anyone here can recommend a good shop to go to.
The insurance claims adjuster recommended Jim's, and I see someone here recommending them, but their Yelp reviews seem mixed. I've found a few well reviewed places too, but was hoping someone here could recommend a shop that has experience with S2000s.
For the dent repair, the insurance adjuster recommended the Pacific Nissan body shop. Anyone has experience with them?

For the dent/paint, I would recommend San Diego Collision Repair off Clairemont Mesa Blvd:

A member on here from orange county brings his car down here for paint/repairs when he needs them. I personally don't have any experience with them, but that member (Chris_Lum if you want to talk to him directly) is picky enough for me to trust his opinion. Plus the yelp reviews are pretty good.
As far as the slashed top.....I've personally never heard of a recommendation for a shop for repair. Mostly because people buy a whole new top. Is the insurance paying for a whole new canvas or just doing patchwork?

They are paying for a new top, and the labor for having someone install it, so that's a good point, it's probably not as huge of a deal.
Thanks for the recommendation on the dent repair place. I'll give them a call.
