hey guys....well i just got the notice that i might be leaving on the 22 of this month for deployment to iraq. im going to check in this weekend to do the final paper work to make it official. for the remaining time i have i would like to thank the SD crew for everything they have done for me. it was fun while it lasted, got many kool memories of the group, vegas was bomb tim love that trip

ill be getting my ar back on the 12, then i got a week and some days left to enjoy driving her around before my baby gets stored away in my sisters garage. im not too sure how long the deployment is going to be, but i think its 16 months.....

hockey - ill get your spare back with a new tire on it, before i leave. thanks

It was a pleasure getting to meet you and know you. You're more then an ok guy. I wish you a safe and speedy return bro. It's going to be different not having you around the tech days, bbq's canyon runs etc. Take care out there and be super safe man, be safe for sure. Good luck to you, Phong. My son Elliot just got back Sunday. His pearl of wisdom was that more men in his unit died in auto accidents the six months before their deployment than in battle the seven months they were there. A comforting thought for those of us staying behind.
