Sorry about that Anthony. There'll be another time.

Welcome, Nick. We'll see you at 10:00.

We had a small, intimate run, just right for the kind of roads we were on. You others don't know what you missed! Lots of twists and turns, uphill and downhill grades, beautiful scenery, and practically no traffic. I highly recommend you print out the map and try it on your own. That area north of Fallbrook is really worth visiting.

Thanks Ray, Nick, Ron, and Nita for coming out. Sorry about the poor choice of restaurant. We'll do better with that next time.

Yeah, I had a great time today. Thanks for planning it Ron. I'll look foward to doing others. Let me know if I can help with routes etc..
What was the deal with that Black 4 Door Civic trying to keep up with us down rainbow canyon?? He must have really been pushing his car to the limit there.

Looks like it was a nice, small group of good people.

I did the Pechanga-Pala road yesterday (Sat) morning with my college-friend who also has an M3... man was that fun!

I'll have to check out the run that you guys did -- maybe call Ray and get together with him!

Probably pissed we weren't going faster and didn't pull over to let him by.

By the way, the little private lake is called Ross Lake.

Rex Ranch is located along the south shore of scenic Ross Lake. Ross Lake was built in 1961 by Ross Daily as a private community recreation site for De Luz Heights residents and their guests only. The lake is one mile in circumference, 35 feet at its deepest point, 1200 feet above sea level, with a summer temperature reaching a comfortable 85 degrees farenheit. It is stocked with large catfish, carp, bass and bluegill. No fishing license is needed, no limit (but we always throw them back). Lake use is limited to daylight only and is fenced. Activities include swimming, sailing, boating (6 hp max), fishing and picnicing.

That Civic would get on my ass, then I would slow down for awhile and then punch it and leave him behind. He would catch up about 20 or 30 seconds later and I would do it again. I think he was frustrated that he couldn't keep up. When he did catch up, he would ride my ass. To tell you the truth, I was glade when we turned one way and he went the other way. He was a very young kid and driving foolishly. He was lucky he didn't spin out. He was crossing the yellow lines and barely holding on.

Ron, thanks for organizing another great run. Had a great time, even with the delayed lunch and discount compensation. Again, thanks. See you this Mega-Week-End.

Ray & Nick
