Drift Circuit
I just wanted to find out who's interested in Drifting at Qualcomm Sept 10th? We've all seen the flyers at Fusion and besides Cory and myself, there are a couple of other S2000's registered.
For those who don't know, this is a drift event for people to practice. You do not have to know how to already drift (I never have even tried it) and this was created for people to try it out without the dangers of trying it on the street. Some of you actually know how to drift already. It's called your normal driving.
I've included the website link below. Bring a extra pair of tires and rims cuz you'll go through them. Cory and I are going to be picking up some take-offs and some cheap tires from the "south San Diego" tire shops to burn up. Also, recommend going -2 on the tire size or at least a lower profile. My car comes with 295's stock, for this event and I'll have either 265's or 275's mounted on the rear for that stretched, easier to drift look.
If there was ever an event where you can purposely drive out of control, this is it! There will be the race course (of course), a dift circle, and I think a figure 8 (someone correct me if I'm wrong).
In the meantime, I will be watching the "drift bible" my friend just loaned and carrying large quantities of Tofu to work (j/k). Hope you guys can all make it!

People better be going and getting down on this shit.
As far as tires are concerned... I know a place where there's a bunch of used tires sitting outside that are still pretty good.
I'm going +1 on tires Seth, so I can for a higher entry speed.

+1? But isn't the point to drift the vehicle and not to race?
