Default Food that represents SD?

I moved down here to SD (for school), and I haven't been able to find any good food joints on my own. So I thought, 'are there any other famous food joints like phil's?'
Then I thought, what better to do than to ask the people of SD!!

So where are they? Where do I HAVE to have been to if I want to mention i'm from SD?

and thanks in advance!!

Phils is the only famous place we have. Personally there are way better BBQ places too. Urge in rancho Bernardo where we are going to night is simply delicious

Thanks for all those places. I'm at La Jolla, so I'll make sure to try them all. I already love the places. Even their name sounds delicious. lol!
