Looking to get some people out for an early day cruise on the 4th of July. It'll be early enough for you party types to get back and enjoy the sun, ocean and beer!

 

That sounds like a great idea. All I ask if you are setting this up, please be very detailed as far as meeting point, time, place and so on. So more of the members and can make a better decision if they will attended or not.

Just posting doesn't seem to "set on stone" as far this event goes. I would like to see as many members being active on this post to participate.

We will be meeting at 8am at Starbucks off Mira Mesa Blvd and the 15. We plan on leaving by 8:30am.

Here is a map of the route. Driving up Palomar we can stop at the Harrahs Rincon Resort for quick restroom/water break regathering in case we get separated. Then we take the S2000 friendly route through the mountains. Figure while we are up here stop for some awesome pie. This is a great end spot, people who need to get back can head back the 78 towards the city.

I'm down for this & I am in Escondido so I can join when you get here. May I suggest we change one part and turn right onto lake wohlford road from E Valley pkwy/valley center rd. we can then follow that to rincon.

We had a decent turn out. I don't think we ended up getting any pictures. I forgot my camera at home

I'll remember it for the HB cruise coming up on the 20th. Hopefully we can get a decent SD turnout.
