time will fly i did two tours there in the navy during desert storm and operation southern watch, time will fly... the one thing i will never forget are those natural gas fires that burn straight up into the sky from the ground.. chilling thing to see on thanksgiving day.. but good luck bro it will go quick

goodtimes man since you already been there itll go by faster im goin back in oct this year im thinkin about sendin mah wife back home to va beach so i can rack up the BAH thats how i bought my S in the first place. BTW what part of Iraq u gonna b? al'asad?

I just got back it's not too bad over there any more. I was gone for 545 days as well, and it's a freakin long haul from the start; but soon as you get to Iraq it will start rolling and before you know it your done. Good luck bro
